The fight
Eyes of Geminessa is two eyes rather than one body. They move and attack as a pair and you wear them down together: damage to either eye comes off the same health bar. Each eye keeps its own coloured rings turning and its pupil follows your ship.
Like the other bosses it begins with a drone phase, so expect small drones and fragments to deal with before the eyes can be hurt.
Attacks
- shards thrown across the screen, mixed with shots aimed at your position;
- minigun-style streams of fast shots;
- a query beam that has to be sidestepped;
- split bolts that break into more shots;
- a fan of bolts;
- a link ring.
Tips
Because the two eyes share one health bar, you do not need to pick a favourite. Look for the lane between their shots, keep moving sideways, and do your damage in the gaps.
